Background and Challenge
Taski is a service that connects students to employers for short term jobs and small tasks and was founded by two students from The Next Big Thing program. Taski was in the developmental phase when we presented with this project and required a user flow for the two types of users: people looking to do paid tasks and people looking to hire.
In Collaboration with Chris Ulmer (UX Strategy), Divya Rashmi (UX strategy), Paul Watabe (Project Management) and myself, (User Research and UI design)

Research involved interviewing employers and people looking for short term work to generate enough data to define the needs for user flows for these two user groups. Surveys were also created to gather more information from both types of users in terms to find out what would benefit them and how. Planning of the user flow design included creating specific personas, user scenarios, storyboards, and user journey maps. Paper prototypes were conducted before a digital prototype was created.
Since we needed two different flows, we needed to create two personas- Employer and Tasker. Employer can be identified as a person or organization who seeks potential immediate temporary staff to perform tasks in accordance to the Employer's request. Tasker is someone who seeks the opportunity for very short-term temporary employment with no long-term commitment for some financial gain.
